NBA Players Vote Trae Young The Most Overrated Player In The League
Trae Young is the most overrated player in the NBA. That is the result of a poll conducted by The Athletic in which 54 players were contacted.
The Hawks star received 14.8 per cent of the votes, second only to the “other” category, which received 31.5 per cent, with 17 names cited.
The point guard received eight votes, while no one else got more than four. The 24-year-old is in his fifth NBA season after being selected by the Mavericks with the fifth overall pick in the 2018 draft and traded that same night for Luka Doncic.

In his 353 regular league games, he has averages of 25.5 points on 35.1 per cent three-point shooting and 9.3 assists. This season he averaged 26.2, 33.5% and 10.2 respectively, although he didn’t make the All-Star team.
These are big numbers that add to the negative image of Young whose greatest achievement was to lead the Hawks to the Eastern Conference Finals in 2021.
This season, however, the Atlanta Hawks have been relegated to the playoffs and are now in the midst of a tough playoff series against the Celtics in which they are 2-0.
In the two games, the point guard averaged 20 points but with poor percentages: 14/40 from the field and 3/15 in three-pointers
