Kanye West Slams Q-Tip For Supporting The Jewish People: “Never Meet Your Heroes”

Kanye West responded to Q-Tip after he threw his support behind the Jewish community following Ye’s anti-semitic rants.

“I support my Jewish friends and the Jewish people,” read Tip’s message, which was widely shared by other celebrities including Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Gwyneth Paltrow and more.

Ye expressed his disappointment in Q-Tip by clapping back on right-wing platform, Parler. “First one of my heroes Q Tip was mad at Michael Rapaport. Then Q tip post this while the #redmedia been trying to destroy my life Never meet your heroes,” he added.

The red media is Kanye’s term for media owned and run by Jewish people. Kanye West has frequently cited Q-Tip and A Tribe Called Quest as one of his “biggest inspirations.”

Kanye later worked with Q-Tip on songs like “We Gonna Make It Better,” “Chain Heavy” and “That’s My Bitch,” before signing him to his G.O.O.D. Music imprint in 2012. (Tip never released any solo material on the label.)

Back in July, Consequence revealed that Ye was almost a part of A Tribe Called Quest. “Here’s something to go viral,” Consequence told N.O.R.E and DJ EFN. “What many people don’t know is Kanye was, at one point, was supposed to join Tribe for the last album. That’s why he’s actually on “The Killing Season” record,” Consequence added.

Many rappers and people in the entertainment industry have turned their backs on the former billionaire.
