Drake Reacts Roe V. Wade Ruling Ending Right To Abortion On 'Spin Bout U' Off New Album 'Her Loss'

Drake Reacts Roe V. Wade Ruling Ending Right To Abortion On ‘Spin Bout U’ Off New Album ‘Her Loss’

Drake and 21 Savage have since been the subject of discussion after dropping their highly anticipated album ‘Her Loss’. The 16-track release features an appearance from Travis Scott on a song called “P*ssy & Millions.”

A cut titled “Circo Loco” features a sample and vocal interpolation of Daft Punk’s Discovery hit “One More Time.”

On the album, Drake dissed Megan Thee Stallion, accusing her of lying about being shot by Tory Lanez on ‘Circo Loco.’ He as well shaded Cardi B on ‘On BS’. The Canadian superstar also dissed Ice Spice on ‘BackOutsideBoyz‘.

Notwithstanding, Drake let his opinion known on the Roe V. Wade ruling ending right to abortion. On ‘Spin Bout U’, he took shots at the judge over the ruling;

“Damn, just turned on the news and seen that men who never got pussy in school
Are makin’ laws about what women can do
I gotta protect ya, I’m a made man, tied in, all the way, baby
So I gotta respect ya,” he raps.

In a historic and far-reaching decision, the U.S. Supreme Court officially reversed Roe v. Wade earlier this year, declaring that the constitutional right to abortion, upheld for nearly a half century, no longer exists.

Writing for the court majority, Justice Samuel Alito said that the 1973 Roe ruling and repeated subsequent high court decisions reaffirming Roe “must be overruled” because they were “egregiously wrong,” the arguments “exceptionally weak” and so “damaging” that they amounted to “an abuse of judicial authority.”
