NeNe Leakes Shares Son Brentt Can Hardly Speak After Stroke

NeNe Leakes says her son Brentt suffered a stroke and is having difficulty speaking.

“This is not the way I wanted it to come out,” she said.

“We wanted to be able to talk about it ourselves when Brentt was in a better place … but I would rather the correct thing be out there than something that’s not correct.”

“Two weeks ago today, Brentt had congested heart failure and a stroke. He’s only 23, so he’s really young for something like that to happen to him,” she added.

NeNe made sure to tell her followers that he tested negative for all substances and that at first, they suspected he had COVID-19.

“They were thinking that maybe he had caught COVID and maybe he didn’t know that he had COVID,” she continued. “We are still trying to figure it out, because if we knew the cause then obviously they could treat the cause.”

NeNe is asking her fans to keep her family in their prayers.
