Lil Tjay Was Reportedly Set Up Outside Of His Hotel In NJ
Lil Tjay was shot at a shopping promenade in Edgewater just after midnight Wednesday, in what the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office called an attempted robbery against the rapper and two of his friends.
Three men have since been arrested in connection to the rapper’s shooting. Tjay’s alleged shooter has also been identified as a 27 year old man Mohamed Konate.
Dreddsworld earlier shared that Lil Tjay’s lungs collapsed twice after being shot multiple times. Fortunately, Tjay is now recovering and will be in hospital for 3 more weeks according to his mother under observation.

It’s also rumored that Lil Tjay was set up outside of his hotel in New Jersey. We’ve not independently confirmed this report but we’ll surely update you once we have more tips on it.
Mohamed Konate has been arrested on charges of attempted murder, armed robbery and weapons offenses.
He’s been accused of firing at the rapper, who’s real name is Tione Merritt, as well as Jeffrey Valdez, 24, and Antoine Boyd, 22, both of the Bronx, who were with him.
Tjay was struck multiple times in the maelstrom, which also injured Boyd, Prosecutors said Wednesday night.
