Kim Kardashian is setting the record straight! Kim is letting it be known that she did not ruin Marilyn Monroe’s dress. Kim Kardashian revealed she has lost even more weight after drastically changing her lifestyle to fit into Marilyn Monroe’s dress for the Met Gala.

Kim claims she lost 16 pounds to fit into the iconic dress back in May, she also revealed she has since lost five more pounds, bringing her total weight loss to 21 pounds.

During a recent interview with the Today Show, host Hoda Kotb brought up the controversy about the dress, ‘We keep seeing stuff like the dress is ruined the dress is this… all of that is not true…?’ ‘No. And I mean Ripley’s… we worked together so well. There was handlers and gloves that put it on me…’ Kim replied.

Kim also let it be known that she apparently only had the dress on for 3mins. She said she came to the Gala in a robe and slippers and put the dress on at the bottom steps of the Met Gala and changed right after the red carpet.

Kim also addressed the concerns surrounding her weight loss in addition to what she lost to fit into the dress, ‘Yeah you know I looked at it like a role,” she said.

“I really wanted to wear this dress. It was really important to me. It actually taught me a lot about my lifestyle and my health and since then, afterwards, I continued to eat really healthy.”

Kim continued, “I am down 21 pounds now. I’m not trying to lose any more weight but I have more energy than ever. I cut out so much sugar. A lot of junk food I was eating. I didn’t even realize it. A lot of fried foods. And I completely changed my lifestyle.”
