Drake ‘Honestly, Nevermind’ On Pace To Sell 210K First Week

Drake recently released his follow-up to last year’s Certified Lover Boy. Titled “Honestly, Nevermind.”

The new LP includes 14 songs, and was executive produced by Drake, longtime collaborator Noah “40” Shebib, Drake’s manager Oliver El-Khatib, Noel Cadastre, and 2022 Grammy winner Black Coffee.

21 Savage is the album’s sole credited featured artist, appearing on the closing “Jimmy Cooks.” The album is dedicated to the late Virgil Abloh, and, on Apple Music, it is categorized under the dance genre.

Just in time, the project’s first week sales projections are in. According to DJ Akademiks, Drake ‘Honestly, Nevermind’ is on pace to sell 210K first week.

Honestly, Nevermind features extensive production from Black Coffee, Gordo, Alex Lustig (who also plays keys on “Calling My Name”), and Beau Nox (who co-wrote and produced several songs, plays guitar on “Overdrive,” and sings on “Flights Booked,” “Tie That Binds,” and “Down Hill”).

Congolese singer Mukengerwa “Tresor” Riziki appears as an additional vocalist on “Currents,” “Down Hill,” and “Tie That Binds.”

The album was engineered by Noah “40” Shebib, Luca Pretolesi, and Noel Cadastre.
