Cardi B Accused Of Lying To Judge To Avoid Court Appearance

Cardi B is in the legal hot seat after lawyers are claiming that the Bodak Yellow singer lied in court to the judge, as reported by Media Take Out.

Last month, Cardi claimed in sworn court papers that she couldn’t make a court appearance because she couldn’t travel after giving birth to her second daughter.

But that turned out to be a lie – as Cardi went all the way across the Atlantic to make an appearance at Paris Fashion Week with her husband Offset.

This is just the latest development in the $5 million lawsuit a man named Kevin Brophy Jr. has filed against her. The original case is about Cardi featuring him on her album cover without his permission.

They were supposed to have court on October 26, but Cardi filed a motion claiming she couldn’t travel to the West Coast for the proceedings because she had just given birth.

The court date was then moved to February 1, 2022.

But Brophy Jr. says that two weeks after that, Cardi was spotted in France at Paris Fashion Week. So he is now accusing Cardi of lying under oath to the court and demanding that they move the date up to December and that she pay an $8,000 fee.
