Trina and Trick Daddy have represented Miami hip-hop for over two decades. Their friendship dates back further than their time in the music industry, and their complicated relationship over the years — some of which is chronicled on Love & Hip Hop: Miami.

However, Trina wants nothing to do with Trick Daddy’s latest drama. During a discussion on Clubhouse this week, Trick Daddy discounted the talents of Beyoncé and JAY-Z, telling the panel that Beyoncé “can’t sing” and JAY-Z “never won greatest rapper alive.”

Following heavy backlash on social media, Trick Daddy was unfazed and even doubled down on his comments. Well, Trina is officially trying to distance herself from the situation, showing major love to Beyoncé on her social media platforms this morning.

“ALL day, Everyday… The Queen,” wrote Trina on Instagram, sharing a video of Bey and Jay performing together.

It’s no brainier why Trina posted this content, with many pointing out that she obviously doesn’t want to get dragged into Trick Daddy’s drama. “A good come back,” commented one fan. “Sis said trick views are not the views of the diamond princess,” joked another.

“Trina cleared herself from the bs expeditiously,” another fan added.

Over the years, Trina and Trick Daddy have had several public disagreements as well as reunions and displays of love. Trick’s biggest criticism of Trina for nearly two decades has been her ability to cross over into other genres such as R&B as opposed to sticking to the hardcore hip-hop sound of “Nann.”

Here’s the video of Trick Daddy dissing the power couple:
