The 2021 BET Awards nominations list recently dropped and has since been the subject of discussion on social media. Megan Thee Stallion and DaBaby, have the highest nominations, earning 7 nods each.

Alabama rapper Yung Bleu, was snubbed and has taken to Instagram to call out BET for allegedly being rigged.

Coi Leray who earned couple of nominations at the prestigious awards, caught wind of Blue’s rants, trying to discredit her and she wasted no time in clapping back.

“I’m one of the 6 songs that went platinum this year. Don’t tell me I shouldn’t make shitttt,” she wrote.

Coi is nominated for Best New Artist and Best Female Hip Hop Artist at the BET Awards. She’s up against Flo Milli, Giveon, Jack Harlow, Latto, and Pooh Shiesty for Best New Artist.

In the Best Female Hip Hop Artist category, she’s facing off against Cardi B, Doja Cat, Latto, Megan Thee Stallion, and Saweetie. The ceremony will take place on June 27, 2021.

Yung Bleu has since responded to Coi Leray saying she deserves it and that he only used her as an example to show he meets the qualifications as well.
