Future’s Son Jakobi Reposts Braylon Howard’s Deadbeat Dad Message
Earlier this year, Future’s first child Jakobi Wilburn, was arrested over involvement in gang activities. The 17-year-old was found in possession of a gun with the serial numbers scratched off.
Though Jakobi was a teenager at the time, in the state of Georgia a 17-year-old is considered an adult and he faces five to 20 years in jail on the one charge of gang activity alone.
Future and Jakobi’s mom Jessica Smith do not have the best relationship. Initially, she took him to court for child support and reportedly stated that the rapper neglected their son Jakobi.

Well, a repost from Jakobi might have confirmed that the rapper is indeed a deadbeat. Recently, Dwight Howard’s 12-year-old son Braylon, who he shares with Royce Reed, took to his Instagram Story saying that his father “ain’t a real dad.”
“You don’t talk to me, you don’t call me, and you don’t try to,” the teary-eyed boy says about his NBA father. He continued, “You never call me, [and when we speak] you never like talking to me.. . . you’re never around.”
Jakobi insinuated he might be going through the same by posting Braylon Howard’s message.
