Over the weekend, Big Sean blessed Hip Hop fans with his newly released album ‘Detroit 2’. And has since been receiving accolades for what is perceived as a great comeback for the well respected lyricist.

Sean Don revealed during an #AskBigSean Q&A on Twitter yesterday that he’s launching his own label. He made the revelation when a fan asks whether he’s still signed to Kanye West’s G.O.O.D Music.

Sean confirmed that he is still under Ye, though with his new album out, he plans on launching his own label. “Yep! I’m starting my own after this album though. Any artist u think I need to sign? It’s time,” he replied.

However, he didn’t divulge fully as to his plans on the new label but, he made it known that he’s ready to sign new artists.

During the Q&A, Big Sean also explained why J Cole wasn’t on the album. He revealed that Cole was supposed to appear on it but unfortunately, they never got the chance to finish the collab.

“Me n J. Cole was working on something but it didn’t get finished. That’s my bro tho for sure,” he said.
