Roddy Ricch Addresses NBA Youngboy’s Album Cover Art Controversy

NBA Youngboy was heavily trolled on Twitter yesterday after he unveiled the cover art for his upcoming album ‘TOP’, scheduled to drop on September 11, complete with 18 new songs.

The black and white cover art shows the Baton Rouge rapper wearing a black black long-sleeve shirt with a pair of chains.

Youngboy can be seen looking up into the camera just barely, a sort of unbothered yet menacing look on his face. But fans were able to spot the similarities between the artwork and that of Roddy Ricch‘s ‘Please Excuse Me For Being Anti-Social’.

Although some of the rapper’s fans defended him by noting that Roddy isn’t the first person to use the black and white image, Youngboy was dragged through the mud on Twitter for supposedly copying Roddy.

In a since deleted tweet, Roddy Ricch reacts on the similarities at some point yesterday and it was captured by DJ Akademiks who later shared it on his Instagram page.

“There’s only one Roddy,” Ricch declares. “And I been fucced with dude so don’t make it about him…I’m juss tired of all this comparing shit.”
