Beyonce’s sister Solange Knowles announced last year that she was ending her marriage, to her husband of 5 years, Alan Ferguson. It didn’t take long before rumors started swirling around that she’s now dating rapper Common.

Representatives of Solange Knowles reached out to us to deny the allegations that she’s now dating rapper Common, claiming that photo of them on the red carpet together at the Lena Horne Prize event was photoshopped.

“The post is not factual. Solange and Common are not dating and that photo of them on the red carpet together at the Lena Horne Prize event was photoshopped to appear as though the artists attended together,” they stated.

Well, new rumors spreading around on social media is that Solange is in a gay relationship with a popular female artist. According to two entertainment insiders, Solange has been spending an inordinate amount of time with the popular songwriter and musician Syd.

Syd is a founding member of the band The Internet,, and also was a member of the alternative hip hop collective Odd Future. She’s openly gay.

And Solange’s new close relationship with Syd, has people wondering whether she’s gone gay. One source told MTO that Syd and Solange started off working on music together, and now they’re inseparable.

The insider explained to the media outlet, “Solange and Syd are quarantining together now. Maybe they’re just friends. But it looks to a lot of us like Solange got turned out by Syd.”
