Nicki Minaj Mocked By Fans Over Husband’s Sex Offender Arrest

Nicki Minaj’s husband Kenneth Petty recently made controversial headlines after he was arrested for failing to register as a sex offender in California.

He was already registered as a sex offender in New York but was required to register in California after the couple moved to Los Angeles last year.

Kenneth Petty’s rape conviction in 1995 is still hunting him. After serving four years in the New York state prison for first-degree attempted rape, almost a decade later, Petty served ten months in prison in 2006 after pleading guilty to first-degree manslaughter.

Kenneth “Zoo” Petty has reportedly entered a not guilty plea in relation to his most recent charge. Nicki Minaj had earlier addressed her husband’s rape controversy by saying at the time Kenneth was 16, the girl was 15, and they were in a relationship. “But go awf Internet. Y’all can’t run my life. Y’all can’t even run y’all own life. Thank you boo.”

But critics on social media have been clowning Nicki Minaj for ending up with a disgraced sex offender. “All the men in the world and Nicki still picked that guy …Yoh I’m annoyed,” a fan wrote on twitter.
