Jermaine Dupri Doesn’t Think Lil Nas X Deserves A Sit With Legends

Lil Nas X broke into the industry with a record smashing hit song ‘Old Town Road’ which features Billy Ray Cyrus.

Lil Nas X’ ‘Old Town Road‘ broke Mariah Carey long record after staying at no 1 on Billboard Hot 100 for 17 weeks consecutively making it the longest running no 1 song on the Hot 100 chart of all time.

Mariah Carey acknowledge his historical foothold and gave a shout out to Lil Nas X on twitter congratulating him on his new record.

Lil Nas X also expressed his profound joy and gratitude to Mariah Carey for acknowledging him.

Jermaine Dupri on the other hand doesn’t see Lil Nas X fit for the spot. Dupri who has been in controversial topics in the past for shunning female rappers and calling them ‘strippers rapping’.

Jermaine Dupri also formed a genre for female rappers which he called ‘Strap’ joined from strippers + rap.

His latest claim arrives in response to Lil Nas X’s record-shattering “Old Town Road,” which recently seized the crown from Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men’s “One Sweet Day” as the Hot100’s longest-running number one. Yet JD was not convinced, and took to Twitter to boot the proverbial kids running amok on his lawn.

“No!! You can’t sit with us, go sit over there and based on the stats and this chart,” writes JD, atop a screenshot of Billboard’s top 10 record-holders. “Mariah Carey is the greatest song writer in history.”

I totally find this uncalled for and a sort of hating on the young man.. The sky is wide enough for more than a bird.
