Jay Z Signs His Former Mentor ‘Jaz O’ To Roc Nation

Yippee ! The originators are reuniting. Jaz O used to be Jay Z’s mentor and they collaborated on couple of songs together. Jaz O was the first person to put Jigga on Wax and videos back then.

The Brooklyn rappers would go on to collaborate across the Vol… series, with their final collaboration arriving with 2002’s “Let’s Go.” with Jay Z being a side guy to Jaz O, they had a smooth friendship before things went south having the rappers diss each other and they later settled it in 2017.
The gist now is that Jay Z who is now a billionaire and one of the influential figures if not the most influential in the music industry has signed his former mentor to Roc Nation.
According to Onsmash.. Jay Z has officially signed his former mentor to the Roc Nation imprint, a distribution deal that went down back in April. Unfortunately, the news eluded us when it originally dropped, but better late than never, especially where a rap nerd is concerned.
As it stands, Jaz’s Kingz Kounty Media Group will be represented by Hov’s Roc Nation, and one has to wonder if we’ll be seeing some new music from Big Jaz in the near future. Congratulations to the pair for linking up once again, and making their partnership official at long last.
