#FreeRocky Nicki Minaj Blasted After Sharing Jamaica Experience

A$ap Rocky remains in Sweden police custody after a video showing him and his crew violently beat up a man hit the internet. 

Although the rapper turned himself in, he was arrested and charged with assault and he is facing 6 years in prison if convicted. A$ap Ferg gave an update on Rocky’s situation saying that the rapper is presently in solitary confinement. 

Many have shown their grief and celebrities are joining forces to boycott Sweden. The #FreeRocky movement is getting stronger as more influential artists are beginning to join.

We reported earlier that Sheck Wes recounted his aggressive experience with Sweden police sometimes back.

Nicki Minaj also hopped on twitter to join the #FreeRocky movement by sharing her experience with the Jamaican police post performance some years back and she’s receiving a lot of backlash from it.

She was called out for giving false information about Jamaica law regarding women rights and giving a lame excuse for cancelling her Saudi Arabia show. A fan even mentioned her ‘Megatron Flop’ and some asking her how it relates to A$ap Rocky.

This doesn’t make any sense. After the Sumfest performance in 2011 where you were fined $10 USD for using expletives on stage, you tweeted “I had the time of my life at Reggae Sumfest… Jamaica I fell in love tonight.”
Please do not compare Jamaica to Saudi Arabia.
