R Kelly Lost Suit As A Result Of Illetracy

R. Kelly’s legal counselor is asserting that the disgraced r&b vocalist as of late lost a common suit since he can’t peruse.

R Kelly lost a common claim in which he was blamed for explicitly mishandling an underage young lady in the late 1990s. Kelly neglected to react to the claim and show up in court.

Thus, a Cook County judge to issue a default judgment for the offended party recognized as “H.W.” in authoritative reports.

Kelly’s lawyer, Brian Nix addressed TMZ about the misfortune :

“R. Kelly was served while incarcerated on the child support case and he was overwhelmed by the experience of being in jail,” Nix told the breaking news outlet. “[Being overwhelmed] coupled with Mr. Kelly not being cognizant of what the motion fully meant led to him missing the hearing. I had no idea he had been served.”

“[Kelly] suffers from a learning disability that adversely affects his ability to read,” legal documents state, “… in essence he cannot,” Kelly’s other attorney’s Zaid Abdallah and Raed Shalabi stated.
