Dreddsworld learned that 6ix9ine was federally charged under RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act) and taken into custody along with two affiliates of 6ix9ine, Shotty and Crippy.
RICO is a law that feds use to bring down organized crime rings.

According to the charges, Tekashi 6ix9ine is facing more than 100 years in prison if convicted. And federal prosecutors have a greater than 95% conviction rate..
The arrest comes just days before Tekashi is scheduled to drop his debut studio album Dummy Boy. The album is set to drop November 23 and includes guest appearances from Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, Lil Baby, Gunna and more.
