Cardi B Responds To Trending Video Of Kanye West Calling Her An Industry Plant

Cardi B and Kanye West have since been trending on social media after an old video of the latter shading the former surfaced online.

Cardi B reacted to Ye’s criticism by sharing another clip of him praising her on X (formerly known as Twitter).

In that video, Ye says: “I’ve always believed in her since she was on the show.” West was ostensibly referring to the reality show Love & Hip-Hop: New York.

In the initial video from 2018, Kanye was on the phone with someone when he brought up Cardi B. He said, “Cardi B is a plant.”

“She don’t write her raps. She’s just there to sound as ignorant as possible, and then make songs like f*** ‘em and get some money. She’s literally replaced Nicki Minaj purposely….that they put her there. And now she doesn’t know what to do.”

He continued, “She has no idea what the f*** is going on. She thinks it’s just a blessing from the universe.”

However, Kanye did go on to collab with Cardi in 2022 so maybe his feelings had changed since 2018.
