NBA YoungBoy & Lil Durk Settle Their Differences, DJ Akademiks Claims

Lil Durk and NBA YoungBoy have been at loggerheads for years now and it appears the rap superstars have finally squashed their beef.

DJ Akademiks made the revelation: “That beef is squashed. You ain’t hear?” he said on livestream. “I’m serious. Durk and YoungBoy don’t have beef no more.”

Although things between the pair have cooled these past few months, tensions rose last February when Lil Durk took shots at NBA YoungBoy on his track “AHHH HA.”

YoungBoy fired back with “I Hate YoungBoy,” a scathing diss track that found the 23-year-old taking shots at Smurk and his then-fiancée India Royale.

“Why you drop that wack-ass song? Pussy bitch, you shoulda known,” YoungBoy spit. He also responded to Durk’s dig at his ex-girlfriend Jania Meshell, rapping: “Bitch, don’t bring my baby momma up, she richer than your n-ggas.”

Their beef stemmed from King Von’s death in 2020. Von was allegedly killed by an affiliate of Quando Rondo, who is signed to YoungBoy’s Never Broke Again label and who the Top rapper has adamantly stood by in the wake of Von’s death.

However, YoungBoy said in a recent interview with Billboard that he’s turned a new leaf ever since he was introduced to Mormonism while on house arrest in Utah. He expressed regret at his past violent lyrics and said two missionaries that visited his house introduced him to the religion.
