13-Year-Old Boy Saves Little Sister From Abduction Attempt After Shooting Kidnapper With A Slingshot

A big brother lived up to his role when he saved his younger sister from possible danger.

According to Revolt, an 8-year-old girl had been innocently searching for mushrooms in her backyard on May 10.

In nearby woods, a 17-year-old appeared and grabbed the child. The older brother saw the abduction attempt and acted swiftly. He used a slingshot to strike the suspect in the head and chest, causing the abductor to flee the scene.

Michigan State Police soon apprehended the suspect at a nearby gas station he hid at.

When police questioned the suspect, he allegedly confessed that he intended to severely harm the child.

He was booked into Alpena County Jail and faces charges on attempted kidnapping/child enticement, attempted assault to do great bodily harm less than murder, and assault and battery.

The news has since gone viral on social media, garnering lots of reactions from folks online. “Best big brother in the world,” someone commented.
