Lil Wayne and plus size model La’Tecia Thomas were engaged to be married, until three years ago, the couple split.

A lot has changed over the last 3 years – most notably La’Tecia’s weight.

Rumors of La’Tecia and Lil Wayne’s split first started when the Australian model was seen without her massive engagement ring. Her “Carter” necklace, previously gifted to her by her boyfriend, was also missing.

Thomas unfollowed Wayne and all of his fan accounts on Instagram, but continued to follow his daughter Reginae Carter. While they were together, she was the only person Wayne followed. But now he follows no one.

The couple, who got matching tattoos, sparked engagement rumors when Thomas was seen flaunting her massive rock on Instagram last fall. In February, they made their red-carpet debut at Wayne’s Funeral album release party in Miami.

The two met on social media after Wayne slid into her DMs while overseas.
