Pics From Olympic Gymnast Simone Biles Bridal Shower

Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles and 26-year-old Houston Texans safety Jonathan Owens are engaged, and over the weekend was Simone’s bridal shower.

Biles first confirmed the couple’s engagement last fall, when she posted a series of photos of Owens proposing in a gazebo in Houston, Texas, with her wearing a black mini dress and him in a gray suit.

She also shared a video of her sparkly oval-cut diamond ring, which features a diamond-encrusted band.

“THE EASIEST YES,” Biles captioned the slideshow. “I can’t wait to spend forever & ever with you, you’re everything I dreamed of and more! let’s get married FIANCÉ 💍🥺🥲🤎 @jowens_3.”

Biles is the gymnast with the most World medals (25) and most World gold medals (19), having surpassed Vitaly Scherbo’s record 23 World medals by winning her 24th and 25th, both gold, at the 2019 competition in Stuttgart. She is the female gymnast with the most World all-around titles (5).

She is the sixth woman to win an individual all-around title at both the World Championships and the Olympics, and the first gymnast since Lilia Podkopayeva in 1996 to hold both titles simultaneously.
