Teenage Chicago Rapper Lil Ronald Dies During Shooting In His Hometown
According to reports, a 14-year-old Drill rapper named Lil Ronald has been fatally shot in his hometown.
The Chicago-based musician was a member of a group known as Shortymobb.
The tragic news comes nearly two months after another member of the group named Cello was murdered on the Eastside of Chicago.

According to Chicago Police Department data published, the city has recorded 79 homicides this year through the end of February — a total that is down 14% compared to the same point last year but 13% over 2021.
That total is up 13% compared to the first two months of 2020.
“The men and women of the Chicago Police Department will always do everything we can to fight violence, strengthen our neighborhoods, and make our city safer for all,” Police Superintendent David Brown said in a statement.
Every day Chicago’s officers show up and show community members that we’re in this together.”
