North Carolina Man/Actor Kills His Wife, 3 Of Their Kids & Himself

Reportedly murder-su*cide occurred yesterday in High Point, North Carolina, according to reports from officials involving 45-year-old Robert Jeffrey Crayton Jr., his wife, and their three children.

According to Captain Matt Truitt, the Community Division Commander for the High Point Police Department, “On January 7, 2023, at 7:05 a.m., High Point police officers responded to the 2700 block of Mossy Meadow Drive in regard to two people crying for help.” When the police arrived, they encountered a male and female adult who said they needed assistance.

According to the authorities, the location was identified as 2734 Mossy Meadow Drive, the home of Athalia and Robert Crayton and their three children. They had to break down the door to get inside, and when they did, they discovered five bodies. Three of the five victims were children, while two were adults. At the site, all of the victims were declared dead.

The woman who was discovered inside the house dead along with three of her children after her husband killed them and then committed NUToday has identified suicide.

Athalia Crayton, 46, has been identified as the woman. Police sources claim that Robert Jeffrey Crayton Jr., age 45, is responsible. Currently, this is being looked into as murder/suicide.

No information is available that points to a community threat. No additional information is being made public to preserve the objectivity of the police department’s fact-finding efforts because this is an ongoing and active investigation.

According to High Point police, the investigation is still underway, and there is no indication that the community is in danger. Police failed to pinpoint a cause of death or a motive.
