2-Year-Old Boy Starved To Death After Father Suffered Fatal Heart Attack In Their Apartment

Officials have determined the cause of death for David Conde Sr., and his son David Code Jr., nine months after their bodies were discovered inside their apartment.

According to People, David Conde Sr., who died in February along with his son David Conde Jr., officials determined David Conde Sr. suffered from heart disease.

Unfortunately, his 2-year-old son, David Conde Jr., subsequently died of starvation. “It is believed that Mr. Conde passed away first, and the child was not able to obtain any nourishment after his father passed,” police said.

The father and son’s bodies were found in their New York apartment on Feb. 15. They were last seen alive on Jan. 22, according to NBC News.

David Sr’s family members called the police after not hearing from him for a while.

When the police entered the apartment they discovered David Sr’s body on the bed, while his son’s body was found nearby.

Police say there were no signs of a struggle.
