Rihanna Says She’s Nervous To Perform At The Superbowl Halftime Show

Last week, fans were thrown in a frenzy when it was reported that Rihanna will be performing at the Superbowl Halftime Show. The R&B singer then confirmed the news on her Instagram page.

The NFL Halftime Show Super Bowl is a show presented in the middle of the final game, and only big names in the industry are offered the job.

The negotiation was highly rumored on social media and the names included big artist such as Taylor Swift and Drake, but as it turns out, Swift declined the offer due to other projects that she is currently undertaking that would not make ends meet.

TMZ recently caught up with Riri and she was asked about the much anticipated performance. In response, the Fenty line mogul said she’s nervous but excited about it. However, Rihanna kept silent when asked who could be joining her.

With sales of over 250 million records worldwide, Rihanna is the second-best-selling female music artist of all time. She has earned 14 number-ones and 31 top-ten singles in the US and 30 top-ten entries in the UK.

Her accolades include nine Grammy Awards, 13 American Music Awards (including the Icon Award), 12 Billboard Music Awards, six Guinness World Records, and the NAACP’s President’s Award.

Time named her one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2012 and 2018. Forbes ranked her among the top ten highest-paid celebrities in 2012 and 2014. As of 2022, she is the wealthiest female musician, with an estimated net worth of $1.4 billion.
