Lil Wayne Shows Love To A Make-A-Wish Kid Backstage At Lil Weezyana Festival

Usually they say never meet someone you’re a fan of because you’ll end up disappointed. That isn’t the case when it comes to Lil Wayne.

According to TMZ, Lil Wayne showed a lot of love to a Make-A-Wish Kid during his own Lil Weezyana Fest in New Orleans.

The Young Money CEO and Grammy award-winning rapper took time out of his busy schedule to connect with Donavon Fitzpatrick, a child in the Make-A-Wish program during the 6th edition of the festival.

Donavon, who is a huge Lil Wayne fan, suffers from hypoplastic left heart syndrome, a condition that affects blood flow.

Lil Wayne is commonly regarded as one of the most influential hip hop artists of his generation, and often cited as one of the greatest rappers of all time.

His career began in 1995, at the age of 12, when he was signed by rapper Birdman, joining Cash Money Records as the youngest member of the label. From then on, Wayne was the flagship artist of Cash Money Records before ending his association with the company in June 2018.

Lil Wayne has sold over 120 million records worldwide, including more than 20 million albums and 70 million digital tracks in the United States, making him one of the world’s best-selling music artists. He has won five Grammy Awards, 11 BET Awards, four Billboard Music Awards, two MTV Video Music Awards and eight NAACP Image Awards.
