C-Murder Reacts To NBA YoungBoy Paying Homage By Remixing His Song ‘Like A Jungle’

NBA YoungBoy recently released his mixtape called Realer 2 on Sept. 7th but he continues to serve fans as he returns with another new song called ‘Like A Jungle (Out Numbered). And just like he usually does, it comes along with a music video shot around his house.

Filmed inside his home, YoungBoy lays still in a casket before popping up, rapping in front of cars and performing in various outdoor shots.

Across the track, he lays blame for some of his demons on certain family members trying to screw him over, feuding with a woman who’s a fan of most of his adversaries, the criminal justice system and more.

“From the Magnolia to the methenamine, all the way back ‘cross the trap / Inside my cell, me and my dawg got hooked on food, should I sue for that? / I ain’t no fool, I break the rules, now tell ’em bi***es, “Build ’em back” / Don’t approach me with no tool, ain’t no screws inside my hat,” he raps.

YoungBoy continues by saying that he can obtain any “game” he requires from Bossalinie, the pop record by C-Murder that was issued in March 1999. The album sold over 175,000 units during its first week and peaked at #2 on the Billboard 200.

Additionally, “Like A Jungle (Out Numbered)” is a remix of the song “Like a Jungle,” which was recorded by Master P and released on the album Bossalinie.

Reacting to the homage, C-Murder wrote; “I never felt like this way about a song. U literally made my heart stop. U did like a jungle real justice. It made me feel so good to know I am not forgotten and recognized by someone so real. I salute you until I am in the casket and after. Forever tru.”
