Sheff G Denies Prison Extortion Claims: “My Name Will Never Be Tainted”

22Gz earlier claimed on Twitter that Sheff G is being extorted behind bars. “The ‘Godfather’ in jail getting extorted Good morning. N-ggas supposed to be starting some sh-t,” 22Gz wrote before deleting the tweet.

“These rappers be waiting too long to live their raps and then get wrapped up and can’t hold it down.”

Sheff G was recently sentenced to 2 years in prison after pleading guilty in connection with a traffic stop arrest last year. Sheff G has now responded to 22Gz on Instagram.

“Done hurd I turn this and that .. done hurd im getting extorted and allat lies and rumors that the broke dirty and worthless has made up Imao, whats next?” he wrote.

“N-ggas better ask anyone they kno up in these upstate prisons about me ! , million dollar n-gga chilling in general population never been disrespected without the boomerang effect, all yu got is ya name and ya word .. and my name would never be tainted, my reputation speaks for itself… mr front line action … mr movie himself!”

Sheff G rose to fame with his single “No Suburban” in 2017 which was a response to the song “Suburban” by 22Gz. Williams is widely known as one of the vanguards of the Brooklyn drill movement.

He was influenced by Chicago Drill rappers Chief Keef, Lil Bibby and G Herbo. Sheff G made a remix of “No Suburban” with GS9 affiliate rapper Corey Finesse.
