It’s no secret that Nicole Lorraine Linton has been charged with six counts of murder and five counts of vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence after causing a fiery crash in L.A.

While stories have circulated that Linton had been arguing with her boyfriend before causing multiple collisions, it appears she may have a history of being a speed demon.

According to the Los Angeles Times, authorities said they haven’t found any evidence that Linton was under the influence of alcohol. However, prosecutors did find that Linton was in 13 prior crashes.

They believe that her history of being involved in dangerous crashes, proves she knew exactly what she was doing when driving 90mph before killing 5 people and an 8 1/2 month old fetus.

The 37-year-old nurse from Houston ran a red light and plowed her speeding Mercedes through a busy intersection in Windsor Hills causing a deadly crash. Six people were killed in the violent wreck at the intersection of S. La Brea Avenue and Slauson Avenue.

During her first court appearance on Monday, tears could be seen rolling down Linton’s face. The suspect behind the wheel of the deadly crash was in a wheelchair with a brace on her arm due to injuries she sustained during the crash. This comes just days after she was treated at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center.

She is currently facing up to 90 years if convicted on all charges.
