Erika Lyles Possibly Joining The Cast Of The Real Housewives of Potomac

There’s a new housewife that’s all but set to join the cast of the Real Housewives of Potomac. Bravo execs and producers are working overtime to convince African American socialite Erika Lyles to join the cast of the Real Housewives of Potomac.

We spoke with a top insider with the Housewives franchise who told us that the Real Housewives Of Potomac have their mind set on bringing Erika into the fold.

The upcoming season of the Real Housewives of Potomac has already been filmed – so Erika won’t be on next season. But the hope is that she’ll sign on for the following season. The insider explained, “We really love Erika, she has a good name, a great storyline, and she has REAL money – unlike other housewives.”

Erika does have an interesting storyline. She’s been a socialite for all her adult life, and she’s in the midst of a divorce from her estranged husband – music industry legend Kevin Liles. Erika announced that the two were divorcing last Spring.

Since the divorce filing, Erika has been living her best life. She’s been posting photos of her and her girlfriends – which include Chris Rock’s ex-wife Malaak Compton-Rock and RHOP Gizelle Bryant.

According to our insider, Erika’s good friend Gizelle has been called in to help recruit Erika to the Potomac Housewives.

The insider explained, “We’ve reached out to Erika and offered her a spot. She hasn’t said yes, but it seems like she’s leaning towards a yes. [Hopefully] Gizelle can convince her to join the show.”
