Drake Reportedly DMing Chantel Everett From The Family Chantal

Chantel Everett, the star of the popular Family Channel show The Family Chantal has a new suitor in her life – hip hop superstar Drake.

According to a person close to the rapper, Drake has been DMing Chantal ever since he learned that she and her husband Pedro Jimeno are divorcing.

The Family Chantel stars Chantel and Pedro had a rocky relationship leading up to Pedro filing for divorce in May 2022. The news of their divorce broke after fans watched their tumultuous relationship play out during season 4 of their spinoff series, which premiered in early June.

Throughout the season, Pedro accused his wife of being “lazy,” while Chantel had concerns over her husband’s relationship with a coworker, which led her to accuse him of infidelity. Eventually, Pedro filed to divorce Chantal, after he claimed that she embezzled $250,000 from him. Chantal disputes the allegations against her.

And since March, Drake has been in Chantal’s DMs. Drake’s associate said, “Drake reached out to see how she was doing and where her head was at, and she responded.”

“They’ve been DMing each other back and forth, and are planning to meet up soon,” the friend added. The insider claims that up until now, Chantal wasn’t ready to get involved with Drake romantically – but he suspects that will soon change.

“Drake has a way of wearing women down. They might not at first expect any romance with Champagne Papi, but before long – it always ends up that way.”

According to court documents, Pedro filed for divorce after six years of marriage on May 27. Mutual restraining orders were also issued at the time. The former couple are “restrained from doing or attempting to do, or threatening to do, any act that injures, maltreats, vilifies, intimidates, molests or harasses the adverse party.”
