Woman Shows Cops ‘White Privilege’ Card Instead Of License After Getting Pulled Over
A woman recently recorded her encounter with police after getting pulled over and luckily for her, she got off without a ticket or citation for driving without a license.
In a now-delete post, the woman identified Mimi Israelah said she was pulled over in Alaska for weaving in the early morning hours on July 9 after having returned to Anchorage on an early flight from California, where she had attended a Trump rally.
She explained that she couldn’t find her driver’s license, but spotted her “white privilege” card as she flipped through wallet. According to the anew York Post, the card read, “White Privilege Card Trumps Everything” to one of the officers and asked if it was okay to use. Mimi said her FB post, He laughed and called his partner. It’s their first time to see a White Privileged card.”

According to the outlet citing Anchorage Daily News, the officers, identified as Nicholas Bowe and Charles Worland decided to let Mimi go without issuing her a citation for driving without a license.
However, the local police department on Thursday said the two officers violated department policy for letting her go without it.
As of result of their actions, Worland and Brown are now on administrative leave as Anchorage Police investigates the incident. Although police wouldn’t say which policy was violated and if the officers face any repercussions.
An Anchorage Police Department spokesperson did say, “The investigation regarding the incident is completed and is a part of confidential personnel files that will not be released publicly.”
