Aries Spears Makes Demeaning Comments About Lizzo, Compares Her To Poo Emoji

Lizzo has been at the forefront of the body positivity movement in America. Now plus sized women everywhere are embracing their shapes and becoming less self conscious about what they wear in public.

And while most agree that’s a good thing, some people are threatened by this movement.

In a new Youtube video, comedian Aries Spears roasted Lizzo on the Art of Dialogue. During the interview, Spears talked about LIzzo having a pretty face but the body of the “poo” emoji on iPhones.

The comedian goes off on Lizzo – in a manner that many online find troubling. In addition to comparing Lizzo to a pile of excellent, he also said her body looks like a plate of mashed potatoes and welcomed whatever internet ire is sure to come his way as a result of his comments.

Aries Spears is an American stand-up comedian, actor and writer from New Jersey. Spears was a regular on Fox’s sketch comedy series MADtv, appearing in 198 episodes, making him the second longest-serving cast member on the show behind Michael McDonald.

In 2011, he released a special called Aries Spears: Hollywood, Look I’m Smiling. He is also a two-time co-host for the AVN Awards, in 2018.
