Friday Actress Angela Means Tearful Over Her Role As ‘Felicia’

We all remember Angela Means for her iconic role as Felicia from ‘Friday’ but she’s now opening up about the emotional toll the role took on her.

In an interview with Comedy Hype it seems that Means blurred the lines between herself and her role as she shared her thoughts and things that were said to her. She even recalls people saying harsh things and continues to wonder why.

She goes on to question the treatment of her character in the film asking, “Why is it so easy for us to dismiss each other like that? Why would they be so dismissive? Why would no one defend her? And I’ve asked this question for 30 years”.

As she gets emotional she brings up the horrible things that people say, even calling her a “dirty b****”.

“When people come at me and even to this day, I’ll see people saying, ‘Bye, you dirty b****, you f—ed up b****, you dumb b****.’”

Born on 19th November 1963, Means was raised in her hometown Ann Arbor, Michigan United States. His family belongs to the White ethnicity.

With a middle-class family background, the high school/college graduate went from an unprofessional star to becoming an all-time budding superstar with her breakthrough appearance in the famous movie House Party 3. The celebrity hit the rock bottom of her career when she went on to appear in the film Friday. Her other works include Cousin Skeeter, Customer Service Sucks and The American Family Dreamers
