Ricky Martin Wins Case After Nephew Withdraws Allegations Of Incest Made Against Him

In a virtual court hearing, Ricky Martin’s nephew “voluntarily desisted” from moving forward and said he no longer needed the protection order from his uncle he claimed abused him.

“This was never anything more than a troubled individual making false allegations with absolutely nothing to substantiate them,” said Ricky’s team.

“We are glad that our client saw justice done and can now move forward with his life and his career.”

The nephew claimed to have been in a sexual relationship with Ricky. Puerto Rico has strict laws against incest…with harsh prison time if convicted.

Apparently, it appears the truth has finally come out. Before the court hearing, Martin posted a statement to his Twitter page:

“The protection order entered against me is based on completely false allegations, so I will respond through the judicial process with the facts and the dignity that characterizes me.

Because it is an ongoing legal matter, I cannot make detailed statements at this time. I am grateful for the countless messages of solidarity, and I receive them with all my heart.”
