Kim Kardashian Faces Backlash For Jumping On North West’s Back At The Beach

Kim Kardashian is in the news again today, after she released some paparazzi pics from a family vacation in the Turks and Caicos. The vacation seemed fun and fairly normal.

In some of the pics, the 42 year old Kim is seen being carried around by her 9 year old daughter North.

And some on social media are saying that it’s “inappropriate” to have a child exert herself by carrying a grown woman on her back. In some of the images, which were taken by professional paparazzi in conjucnction with the Kardashian team. Kim is seen jumping onto North’s back.

The 9 year old then carry Kim across the shoreline.

So what do doctors say about kids lifting up adults? The Mayo Clinic’s website explained that it is safe to allow kids to lift weight, but nothing too heavy..

According to the Mayo Clinic, “Kids can safely lift adult-size weights, as long as the weight is light enough.” The website did not specify whether giving a piggy back ride to an adult woman is “light enough.”
