Ghislaine Maxwell To Serve 20-Years Sentence In A Low Security Prison In Florida

Jeffery Epstein’s partner-in-crime, Ghislaine Maxwell, has been granted permission to move to a different prison after she was sentenced to 20 years for multiple charges of sex trafficking.

Maxwell was originally supposed to live out her sentence in a Federal Corrections Institution (FCI) in Danbury, CT, but it was announced today by the Federal Bureau of Prisons that she would be transferred to the FCI in Tallahassee, FL.

The move has come as a shock considering the judge residing over her case suggested that she was placed in the FCI Danbury. FCI Tallahassee will feature a lot of recreational services that the other prison doesn’t offer, including yoga, movies, sports, and arts and crafts. It’s a low-security prison that helps develop “individual wellness” inmates.

Maxwell is being transferred some time this week, and it’s not scheduled for release until 2037, a few months before she turns 76.

On 2 July 2020, Maxwell was arrested and charged by the federal government of the United States with the crimes of enticement of minors and sex trafficking of underage girls, related to her association with Epstein.

She was denied bail as a flight risk, with the judge expressing concerns regarding her “completely opaque” finances, her skill at living in hiding, and the fact that France does not extradite its citizens.

On 29 December 2021, she was convicted on five out of six counts, including one of sex trafficking of a minor. She faces a second criminal trial for two charges of lying under oath about Epstein’s abuse of underage girls.
