Over 25 Rounds Fired At 4th Of July Parade At Highland Park Illinois Leaves Several Injured

There has been reports of another mass shooting.

It appears the shooting took place at a parade at Highland Park, Illinois.

According to TMZ The parade started at 10 AM and 10 minutes in parade-goers begin to hear gunshots. 6 people were killed and over 24 are currently hospitalized.

The cell phone video footage shows the panic among parade-goers as they search for safety. There are unconfirmed reports of 9 people shot.

An eye witness told WGN News that the male shooter was very military style, methodical in the way he was crouched and shooting. A manhunt has been launched for the man.

Illinois Governor JB Pritzker wrote in a tweet saying: “My staff and I are closely monitoring the situation in Highland Park. State police are on the scene and we have made all state resources available to the community.”

He continued, “We will continue working with local officials to help those affected.”
