Yung Miami Responds To Criticisms From Holding ‘Go Papi’ Sign For Diddy At The BET Awards

Yung Miami was a subject of mockery on social media after she held “Go Papi” sign for Diddy in the crowd at the just concluded 2022 BET Awards ceremony which aired on Sunday night.

The City Girls rapper decided to cheer on her boo Diddy whom received the lifetime achievement honor at the event.

Embarrassingly, Diddy didn’t acknowledge Miami during his acceptance speech, thanking everyone in his life but not mentioning her by name. Diddy even thanked his ex fiance Cassie Ventura for holding him down in the dark times.

Replying a tweet from BET showing video of the moment she was cheering Diddy by raising ‘Go Papi’ sign at the BET Awards. Miami wrote: “Support who supports you! & never give a fuck what ppl say 💅🏾🥰🥰 GO PAPI”

Diddy used his emotional acceptance speech to give flowers to all the people who have inspired him over the years, including his mother, Janice Combs, his late partner Kim Porter, and ex-girlfriend Cassie.

A video earlier surfaced showing the moment JT tapped Yung Miami to sit down while she was cheering Diddy with “Go Papi” sign in the crowd.

A seemingly embarrassed JT can be seen signaling to her friend Caresha to sit down and take a chill pill with her “Go Papi” sign.
