Prayers are currently up for New York rapper Lil Tjay following reports that he was shot in New Jersey last night.

On Wednesday (June 22), TMZ reported that Lil Tjay was one of the victims of a double shooting that took place in Edgewater, N.J. just after midnight last night.

A new video footage of Lil Tjay being carried to ambulance after he was shot has surfaced online. We reported earlier that he’s now out of surgery and now doing better under medical watch.

The shootings occurred at two nearby locations: a Chipotle restaurant and an Exxon gas station.

Lil Tjay was one of two people injured during the shootings. The identity of the second victim has not been released. Police are investigating the crimes and currently do not have a suspect in custody.

The Bergen County, N.J. Prosecutor’s Office has released a statement about the shooting on Twitter.
