Hannah was born in Hollywood and was raised by her parents Tom Selleck and Jillie Joan Mack, who wanted her to have a normal (not luxurious) childhood, which is why she spent her early life on a ranch just outside of Los Angeles. She learned how to ride horses at the age of four, and eventually became a competitive rider.
