The 2022 BET Awards ceremony held on Sunday night live from the Los Angeles Microsoft Theater. And there’s a lot of highlights that’s since been subjects of discussion on social media.

Diddy was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award, joining Whitney Houston, Prince, Queen Latifah, Anita Baker, Mary J. Blige, Samuel Jackson, and many more in receiving the honor.

Megan Thee Stallion won the ‘Best Female Hip Hop Artist‘, Kendrick Lamar won the Best Male Hip Hop Artist and Latto won the Best New Artist. The Weeknd won Best Male R&B/Pop Artist while Jasmine Sullivan won the Best Female R&B/Pop Artist.

One of the top discussions is the moment Ray J was spotted eating a cup of Noodles at the event. The singer and reality star seem to be hungry and couldn’t hold it that he had to take a fast one in the open.

“You alright.. you ain’t eat at home,” the man behind the camera said giggling.

Prior to the BET Awards, Ray J was in the news after horribly singing at the preshow of Omarion and Mario verzuz battle. Ray J performed his song One Wish, and his voice started to snap, crackle and pop.

Ray later took to social media to apologize to his fans and to explain what happened to his voice. According to Ray J, carrying the baby on stage threw him off. He says that he plans on making it up to fans, and showing them that he really can sing.
