Lil Tjay Still Unconscious, Scheduled For A CAT Scan

Rapper Lil Tjay was shot at a shopping promenade in Edgewater just after midnight Wednesday, in what the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office called an attempted robbery against the rapper and two of his friends.

Three men have since been arrested in connection to the rapper’s shooting. Tjay’s alleged shooter has also been identified as a 27 year old man Mohamed Konate.

New reports reaching us at Dreddsworld is that Lil Tjay is still unconscious after surgery and is scheduled for a CAT Scan. We gathered that outside of moving his legs yesterday, he’s made no other bodily movements.

Dreddsworld earlier shared that Lil Tjay’s lungs collapsed twice after being shot multiple times. It’s also rumored that Lil Tjay was set up by a woman he met in the nightclub in New Jersey.

Mohamed Konate has been arrested on charges of attempted murder, armed robbery and weapons offenses.

He’s been accused of firing at the rapper, who’s real name is Tione Merritt, as well as Jeffrey Valdez, 24, and Antoine Boyd, 22, both of the Bronx, who were with him.

Tjay was struck multiple times in the maelstrom, which also injured Boyd, Prosecutors said Wednesday night.
