Britney Spears’ Ex-Husband Ordered To Remain In Jail After Trespassing Singer’s Home On Her Wedding Day

Britney Spears’ Ex-Husband Ordered To Remain In Jail After Trespassing Singer’s Home On Her Wedding Day

Britney Spears’ first ex-husband, Jason Alexander, will remain behind bars after trespassing the singer’s home in an attempt to crash her wedding earlier this month.

The ruling, which will see Jason remain in jail until his next court appearance on July 12, was made by a judge during a preliminary hearing in Los Angeles on Monday.

Britney’s former security guard, Richard Eubler, who was reportedly fired after the incident, recalled to the court how Jason had managed to get to the second floor of the pop star’s mansion before attempting to unlock her bedroom door where Britney had been getting ready for her ceremony.

He was alleged to have had a knife on him as he demanded to see his ex-wife.

“He was able to find his way onto the property and was confronted by security,’ a police spokesman revealed at the time. “An altercation occurred with the security officers and that’s where the battery occurred… and during the altercation an item was broken, so that’s where the vandalism comes into play.”

And by being on private property, the trespass comes into play. Jason has pleaded not guilty to trespassing, vandalism, battery, and felony stalking and remains on $100,000 bail. He will return to court on July 12 and has been ordered not to contact Britney or her security through any sort of communication, including social media.

Britney’s protective order against Jason has since been extended to June 13, 2025.
