Amber Heard Is Reportedly ‘Worried’ About Her Future Amid Claims She’s Been Ousted From ‘Aquaman 2’

Things aren’t looking good for Amber Heard after ex-husband Johnny Depp won his defamation case against her last Wednesday, with reports now claiming that the Justice League actress is “not in a good place” and worries about her future.

After an intense six-week trial at the Fairfax County Circuit Court in Virginia, the jury awarded Johnny $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages.

The judge reduced the latter to $350,000 per the state’s statutory cap. And while Amber was still awarded $2 million for her countersuit, losing the lawsuit has reportedly left her in a fragile state, particularly with matters concerning her finances.

According to Entertainment Tonight, the Texas native is upset that people she thought she could rely on during the trial had neglected her, nor did they show her any support when the trial commenced.

“Amber is not in a good place and is worried in general and financially speaking. She is definitely planning to appeal the court’s decision,” a source said. “She feels very alone and like she lost a lot of friends. She is sad that people she hoped would support her, didn’t.”

Insiders for the publication claim that moving forward, Amber wants to solely focus her attention on being a mom to her daughter while staying out of the limelight for the foreseeable future. It remains unclear whether she will return to acting, especially now that it’s also being claimed Warner Bros. Pictures is looking to cut her scenes from the upcoming “Aquaman 2” entirely following her showdown with Johnny in court.

Reliable insider KC Walsh noted that the studio allegedly held a meeting after last week’s verdict to discuss removing Amber from the sequel, which hits theaters next year. She had shot most of her scenes while in London in late 2021, but executives are now looking to edit the motion picture in a way in which her character Mera will suffer an off-screen death after complications during childbirth will lead to an untimely death.
