Young Thug’s Father Speaks On His Arrest

Young Thug‘s father Jeffrey Williams Sr., claims the rapper is innocent. He said Young Thug is being unfairly linked to something he has nothing to do with.

“I’m gonna fight for him till the end,” Jeffrey Williams Sr. said, convinced that Thugger is being wrongly accused.

He was arrested Monday with Gunna and 26 others charged in criminal street activity and racketeering according to the indictment. ATL police chief says they “got one of our top offenders off of the street.”

According to Seiden, “The indictment includes charges of conspiring to violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act, murder, armed robbery, participation in criminal street gang activity.”

Prosecutors say YSL is a “criminal street gang that started in late 2012 in the Cleveland Avenue area of ATL. YSL claims affiliation with the national Bloods gang,” reports Seiden.

Young Thug is also accused of allegedly giving two purported YSL members—Christian Eppinger and Antonio Sumlin—permission to make a second attempt to murder YFN Lucci while he’s in the Fulton County Jail.

Thug, born Jeffery Williams, appeared in court for the first time since his arrest yesterday. It remains unknown at this time whether or not he will be allowed bail.
